Lt Gov felicitates Sanskrit scholar with ‘Kailakh Sanskrit Rattan Puraskar of 2021

JAMMU: Shri Kailash Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust organised a felicitation program to felicitate Prof. Madan Mohan Jha, a distinguished scholar of Devvani Sanskrit with "Kailakh Sanskrit Rattan Puraskar " - 2021' by Lieutnant Governor Manoj Sinha.
Mahant Rohit Shastri, President, Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust was present on the occasion. He said in the year 2017, on behalf of the Trust started awarding the "Kailakh Sanskrit Rattan Puraskar " to promote Devvani Sanskrit every year. This year the Trust has decided to award to Prof. Madan Mohan Jha, a renowned Sanskrit scholar for his outstanding work in the field of Sanskrit.
Prof. Jha is basically from Bihar and presently the Director of the Central Sanskrit University, Shri Ranbir Campus Jammu. He has written many books in Sanskrit and many of his articles have been published in newspapers and magazines.
Prof. Madan Mohan Jha has played a distinct role in the upliftment of Sanskrit in the society by creating a number of Android applications connecting Devvani Sanskrit with technology and doing an important task of bringing Sanskrit language and Indian culture to the masses.
Prof. Jha and his family have an invaluable contribution to the promotion and development of Sanskrit language across the Globe. His dedication towards the development of Sanskrit language in all over the nation is remarkable. Students through his valuable guidance across the India now are in leading positions in the state and central government. The younger generation should also follow Prof. Madan Mohan Jha and contribute to the conservation of culture of the state and the nation.
