Heritage School organises workshop for Teachers

JAMMU: With concerted focus on innovative methodologies in teaching, an informative and an exemplary workshop was conducted at Heritage School Jammu on Thursday.
This workshop on "Developing Innovative Teaching Methods" is a part of in-service teacher training workshops conducted at regular intervals, to keep the staff abreast with latest techniques in pedagogy.
The workshop held under the aegis of QAI - Qualifications and Assessments International UK, was conducted by Sapna Sukul, an eminent educator, who has been in the field of education since 1996. She has played a pivotal role in introducing innovative learning methods and teaching techniques, necessary for equipping the teaching faculty to contribute towards the new teaching methodologies.
During the workshop, she elaborated on NEP 2020 and briefed the teachers with its core values as well as emphasised on the need to adopt new technologies to adapt and face the challenges created by the Pandemic Covid-19. She gave useful tips to create a conducive environment for both the students as well as for themselves in order to make online classes more effective and reach the desired learning outcome.
The workshop also served to highlight innovations being carried out pan India and how the digital world has facilitated exchange of ideas in order to create a futuristic academic process to help the child to be ready to face the ever changing dynamics of the world.
