11 candidates withdraw nominations for phase-IV in Anantnag

ANANTNAG: According to the District Panchayat Election Officer Anantnag, 11 candidates (2 for DDC seats, 3 for Sarpanch, 4 for Panch and 2 for ULB vacancies) withdrew their nominations for Phase IV of DDC, Panchayat and ULB by-elections for two blocks viz Verinag and Shahabad and Municipal Committee Dooru Verinag on the last date (23 November, 2020) of withrawal of candidature.

This has left 129 candidates in fray and the polling for this phase is scheduled to be held on 7 December, 2020 wherever it is necessary.
