Prompt, hassle free public service delivery fundamental objective of Jan Abhiyan: Advisor Bhatnagar

Terms Jan Abhiyan, B2V vital for achieving Equitable Development, Welfare Governance

PAMPORE: As part of the ongoing public outreach programme 'Jan Abhiyan', Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar today visited Pampore and attended Block Diwas at Town Hall there.

Terming the ongoing Jan Abhiyan and the upcoming B2V3 programme vital for achieving efficient and welfare governance, Advisor Bhatnagar asked the public to come forward with their developmental aspirations and needs to the administration as such programmes have been launched to ensure prompt and hassle free public service delivery besides involving them in mission of equitable development.

Asserting that cooperation of public is bedrock for effective development, the Advisor maintained that such initiatives are being taken to facilitate the people at grassroot level with regard to public service delivery.

While attending the Block Diwas, several delegations and individuals interacted with Advisor Bhatnagar and highlighted their grievances and issues pertaining to their areas and sought immediate redressal for the same.

The Advisor listened to each of them patiently and assured them that all of their genuine demands will be redressed on priority while several grievances were sent on spot to respective quarters for redressal.

Advisor Bhatnagar assured them that the LG's Administration is making persistent efforts to redress all the genuine issues and demands of the public to mitigate their sufferings and to ensure that they do not feel any inconvenience in getting the basic necessities of life.

During his visit, the Advisor also inspected various counters established by several departments like agriculture, horticulture, revenue, labour, transport and others which were providing onspot services like domicile, income, RBA certificates, labour registration cards, soil health cards and others. The Advisor directed the concerned officers to issue these certificates in time bound manner so that general public doesn't suffer.

Later Advisor Bhatnagar distributed sports kits among the eligible beneficiaries and assured them of all possible support from the administration.

ADC Awantipora, Tehsildar Pampore, heads of various departments, BDC Chairpersons, District and sectoral officers, PRI representatives and large number of locals were also present on the occasion.
