Army distributes COVID-19 kits in far flung areas of Kishtwar

KISHTWAR: With an aim to reduce hardship of people living in far flung areas of Kishtwar, Indian Army organized a Medical camp in Sinthan area of District Kishtwar.

During the Camp, COVID-19 kits comprising of facemasks, hand sanitizers, liquid soap and other protective items were distributed to the locals. This relevant initiative of the Army was appreciated by the people, who face extreme difficulties and lack of medical facilities in these remote and difficult areas.
Over 200 people turned up from adjoining areas and availed this facility. The medical team of Army at an altitude of around 10000 feet provided COVID-19 kits and Medicines to the Gujjars and Bakarwals residing in the upper reaches of the Pir Panjal ranges.
This relevant initiative of the men in uniform was highly appreciated by the people, who face extreme difficulties and lack of medical facilities in these remote and difficult to access areas.
