KCIS organise Synergy on Independence Day eve

JAMMU: KCIS celebrated 74the Independence Day with great verve.

A Dance competition was organized to provide platform to the students to showcase their talent. The competition was divided into three rounds- Quarter final, Semifinal, final round and three categories for Semi final and Final round i.e, Sub - Junior (Pre- Primary to Class 4), Junior (Classes 5 to 7) and Senior Category (class 8,9 and 11).The participants were judged on the basis of expressions, music, props, costume and presentation. The final Round was held through Virtual Platform on August 13 th .

The programme commenced with a welcome address by the Principal KCIS, Anupama Sinha. The Vice Chairman Chaitanya Chowdhary, Principal, Dean Academics, Activity Coordinator, Middle Wing Coordinator and Pre Primary Wing Coordinator inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp followed by Ganesh Vandana, performed by Kritika Dutt. Dr. Vikesh Kaur, Principal (Doon International School) and Kunal Anand, Principal (DPS, Udhampur) graced the occasion with their presence.

The event was judged by Ikesh Sharma, Vishal Kumar Mehra, and Dr. Priya Dutta. A stunning performance was given by Vikas Paudwal and Rupali Rai (Dance mentors, KCIS) and mesmerized everyone .

The core team members of KCIS Poonam Bhagat,  Neelam Jasrotia, Seema Bali, Nidha Suri, Surbhi Sharma, Shivali Ghumman and Michael were of great help in making this event successful.

The involvement and willingness of students was beyond imagination and they performed exceptionally good. The Dean Academics presented the vote of thanks in which she thanked the backbone of the show, parents who took lot of pain and prepared their children for this event.

The whole event was the conceptualised by Principal, Anupama Sinha and executed by the Activity Coordinator Rajni Malhotra.
