Jodhamal Public School celebrates ‘International Yoga Day'

JAMMU: When the entire world is struggling to survive against COVID-19, Jodhamal Public School plays it's part by preparing it's young warriors to fight against not only COVID-19 but other physical and mental health issues by celebrating International Yoga Day with not only it's students but their parents as well.

The school organised week long Yoga trial sessions in the evenings via Zoom wherein different Yoga teachers namely Pooja Basson, Neerja, Kusum and Poonam Sabarwal taught different Asanas to both the students and their parents.

The sessions concluded with four mega events organised at 7 AM in the morning wherein hundreds of students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.

The teachers and students also participated in the Yoga session organised by the Samagra Shiksha Department of School Education in association with Arogya Bharti.

Jodhamal strongly believes in preparing it's students to face the worst by performing the best.

The event was coordinated by the CCA coordinators Mubeen Butt and Deepali Puri under the able guidance of Dr Deep Kharre Principal Jodhamal Public School.

The efforts of all were applauded by the Trustees Nandan Kuthiala and Arti Kuthiala.
