Nearly 14000 students submit scholarship forms at facilitation centres set up in Srinagar

7000 aspirants take UGC-NET exam; currently facilitation being provided to NEET aspirants

SRINAGAR: Nearly fourteen thousand students have applied online for pre and post matric scholarships at facilitation centres the district administration has set up in Srinagar.

This follows tens of thousands of students provided facilitation at different centres in the district during the last few months.

This week arrangements were made to enable thousands of students to take the University Grants Commission's National Eligibility Test or UGC-NET examination. Nearly 7000 students took the exam that was held between December 2 and 6.

Currently, the facilitation centres set up in the district are assisting aspirants for registering for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test or NEET examination. In last three days alone over a thousand aspirants submitted their forms for the exam in the district.

The district administration has prioritised facilitation of students at all centres set up in the district for helping all those requiring the internet service.
