JSS Kathua celebrates World Post Day

KATHUA: The enthusiastic tiny tots of Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua celebrated the World Post Day.

The students of class 1 showcased their exuberant talent by preparing beautiful cards for Diwali wishing their parents a Joyful Diwali. They then visited the post office to post their greeting cards to their parents. They met the Postmaster and all other officials in the post office, learnt about the role of a postman and interacted with all of them, an extremely knowledgeable experience indeed. The officials were extremely polite and explained each and every detail minutely.

The teachers helped students to post the greetings and acknowledged them with the importance of letter. The postal day is celebrated worldwide to bring awareness to the Post's role in the everyday lives of people and businesses, as well as its contribution to global social and economic development.

Mili R Sumbria appreciated the efforts and initiative taken by the teaching fraternity namely Smiley, Radha and Suman (Class Incharges) and motivated them to organise such educational trips in future as well.
