Vikramaditya Singh writes to Governor for providing relief to Reasi residents at Ban Toll Plaza

JAMMU: Senior Congress leader and Dogra scion Vikramaditya Singh has expressed grave concern about Reasi residents paying high toll charges at Ban Toll Plaza despite the fact that they use only 8 km and not using the full stretch of the highway as compared to other vehicles.

He has appealed Governor Satya Pal Malik to take into consideration the plight of Reasi residents.

The Reasi residents are currently paying Rs. 200 each time to use just 8 km of National Highway. And adding to their woes, no monthly pass is being provided to them for the Ban Toll Plaza. Also, the alternate route to reach Reasi i.e., via Nandini has not been repaired yet.

Vikramaditya Singh has sent a letter to the Governor asking to provide some relief to Reasi residents.
