DDC Ramban holds public outreach programme at Mahu

RAMBAN: District Development Commissioner, Showkat Aijaz Bhat visited far-flung area Mahu and conducted public outreach programme in the area.

He was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Development Ramban Zaffar Ahmed Banday, XEN PHE, CEO, Tehsildar Khari, BDO's and other officer and officials during the visit.

During the public outreach programme at Khari, Buzzla, Bawa, Trigam and Mahu people apprised the DDC about their various demands and problems being faced by them including, shortage of medical staff in health centers, irregularity in old age pensions, blacktopping of roads, sheep centre, shortage water pipes and electric poles, inclusion of left out families in Ayushman Bhrat, PM- KISSAN Yojana and PM Shramdan etc.

Responding to the demands of residents, DDC directed ACD to identify the deserved beneficiaries of PMAY and make project for the construction of Foot Bridge at Bawa. He impressed upon the PRIs to provide land for the construction of additional accommodation for government Higher Secondary School Mahu. Xen PHE was directed to complete restoration work of water supply schemes.

DC assured the general public their genuine demands would be fulfill well in time and frame manner.
