DIS Principal attends National Conference at Dehradun

JAMMU: Dr. Vikesh Kaur, Principal Doon International School, Jammu attended a four days educational programme named as 'Journey Back to School' in Dehradun interacting and having brainstorming sessions with some of the best educationists and Principals of the nation.

The event was attended by Dr. Harish Choudhary(Professor,IIT Delhi), Dr. Gunmeet Bindra(Principal,Welham Boys School), Kamal Ahuja(Deputy Head-master,The Doon School), Dr. Jyotsana Barar(Ex.Principal,Welham Girls School), Dr. Rita Kaul(Chairperson,Millennium Schools) and Monisha Dutta(Principal,The Doon Girls School).

The four days educational programme included a visit to the legacy of the most reputed schools in Dehradun ; like ' Welham Boys School,Welham Girls School,The Doon School and The Vantage Hall'. The entire programme enriched all the participant Principals gathered from all around the country with an explicit set of ideas based on the basic theme 'Developing Teacher-Competency' ; which is the need of the hour in today's highly technological era to keep pace with the changing global educational scenario.

Dr. Vikesh Kaur spoke to the media and was delighted to be empowered and enriched with phenomenal tools and ideas for upswinging the performance of the teachers through the fructuous interactive sessions she attended in Dehradun National Conference. The entire programme was organised by 'EduExcellence' Educational Society.
