12 days long Summer Camp concludes at JSS

JAMMU: A twelve-day long study cum summer camp culminated at Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu in the presence of Aijaz Qaiser(KAS), ACD Jammu.

The camp was chaperoned with the contemplation of providing a platform to our Sanskritians during the vacation where in they have abounding and unrestricted space to be themselves.

The summer camp was commemorated after the solicitation of the parents who believe that apart from regular classes in academics we need to work for the personality development of children and nurture their talent. Keeping this in mind we ensured the maximum utilization of their potential by providing the classes in English Conversation, Volley Ball, Cricket, Badminton, Kabbadi, Kho-Kho, Yoga, Taekwondo, Wushu, Vocal and Instrumental, Zumba, Extra Classes In Academics For Board Classes and Counseling Sessions For Sanskritians And Workshops For Teachers. Also, a Plantation drive was conducted in school precincts.

It is pertinent to mention here that not only the students but the teachers also reveled in the summer camp as the second week of summer camp was filled with competitions in various aforesaid facets like dance, music, art and craft. Ensuing this MUN was conducted for the teachers headed by the children. The competitions ended by taking children for a movie ‘BHARAT' wherein the happiness and enjoyment was visible on the mirthful faces of our children.

The closing ceremony of this summer camp began with valedictory function in which The Management, Principal, Chief Guest and coordinators felicitated the teachers and children for their splendid performances in different competitions. Ensuing this culture event marked the end of Summer Camp. The programme was co-ordinated and supervised by Trishna (C.C.A Co-ordinator) & Tarmeet.

While marking an end to the aforesaid, Rohini Aima, Principal cum Vice-Chairperson of the school asserted that vacation if best utilized can yield constructive and effectual results in context to comprehensive and all embracing development of children. Chairperson of the School, Harpreet Anand conveyed vote of thanks.
