CVigil app training held at Reasi

REASI: District Election Officer, Indu Kanwal Chib today conducted an awareness meet regarding use of Cvigil app in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.

AROs, EROs and members of Flying Squad Teams and Static Surveillance Teams attended the meeting.

The meeting was briefed by District Informatics Officer, Asheesh Dogra. DIO Asheesh educated the FSTs, SSTs and others about the mobile application CVigil, which has been developed to report violation of Model Code of Conduct, or any such event which hampers normal voting process. The assembly was told that the medium of app enables real time reporting through live pictures and videos . After a violation is reported, it will be dealt with within 100 minutes of reporting.

The DC said that the app has eliminated time consuming formalities and replaced them with ultra-fast tech.

Later, a training session was also held for hands on experience on the app.

Among others present at the meeting were ADC Rajinder Sharma, ACR Vivek Puri, SDM Dharmari, Sushil Kesar, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars among others.
