BOMIS Jammu organises Talent Hunt Feats

JAMMU: A spectrum of talent was on display at Birla Open Minds International School in an event ‘Talent Hunt Feats' organised by the School for the students of 3-12 years.

The event was organised to provide a platform to the budding talents to express themselves creatively through different activities. The event was open for all the public and private school students and attracted students more than 150 footfalls from different schools and received humongous participation. The event comprised of singing, dance, fancy dress, colouring, ludo, chess, carrom, acting & story-telling competition.

The Chief Guest for the event was Sahil Jain (one of the participants' parent) whereas the Guest of Honour was RJ Nishant (Radio Mirchi).

The event commenced on a spiritual note by Lighting of the Lamp by the Chief Guest & the Guest of Honour. The stage came alive when the students staged their spectacular performances in colourful attires, using fascinating props, eloquent speech and imaginative skills, making it tough for the judges to decide the winners.

In the singing competition, Zoraif, Mahi & Akshavhya got the first, second & third prize respectively. The first, second & third prize in the Dance Competition was bagged by Krishna, Abhiraj & Manan respectively. Aadhya, Sahiba & Krishiv were the first, second & third winners in Fancy Dress Competition.

In the Story- Telling Competition Aaradhay, Arhaan & Yaanik got the first, second &third prize respectively whereas Reyansh & Parv bagged the first & second prize in Acting/Mimicry category. In Chess competition, Arnav, Abhisher & Abhiroop were the first, second &third winners. In Carrom competition Akash, Aniket & Harshit bagged the first, second & third prize respectively whereas the first, second &third winners in Ludo competition were Sarim, Riyaz & Kamran. To encourage the students to take more part in such activities, all the participants were given consolation prizes.

In his keynote address, RJ Nishant applauded all the participants for their performance and motivated them to keep polishing their innate skills by taking part in such competitions. J.S Hundal, Principal of the School congratulated all the winners & assured the parents that BOMIS Jammu shall leave no stone unturned in nurturing the talent of young minds.
The event was compered by Priya & culminated with singing of the National Anthem.
