Birla Open Minds International School, Jammu organizes Talent Hunt competition

JAMMU: In a bid to encourage the students to explore and express their talent, Birla Open Minds International School, Jammu organized a Talent Hunt Competition for the students of age group 3-10 years, in the school campus.

The competition was open for the students of all the schools. The event was organized to boost and nurture the intrinsic qualities of the young talent and to groom their personality.

The chief guest of the event was Surjeet Singh, whereas the Guests of Honor were Madan Lal Sambyal & Bishno Sambyal. The event commenced on a spiritual note by Lightning of the Lamp by the Chief Guest & the Guests of Honor.

The competition was categorized into different themes according to the age group of the students. The students of 3-5 years participated in the Drawing Competition, those of 5-7 years participated in Show and tell Competition and those of 7-10 years participated in the Spell-Bee competition. Around 150 students from different schools of Jammu participated in the competition.

The young talents with their creative and innate calibre were at their best in showcasing their talent. In the Drawing Competition, the First, Second and the Third winners were Aksa Choudhary, Essam Rasool & Harmeet Singh respectively.

The First, Second & third winners in the Show & Tell competition were Kritika Choudhary, Yuvraj Gandotra & Avyanna Singh Rajput respectively and in the Spell-Bee competition, the First, Second and Third winners were Harshit Sharma, Siddharth Singh Salaria & Shrey Masson respectively.

The Consolation prizes were given away to Irwin, Karen Samyal, Rizwan Choudhary, Gouransh Dewan, Ojas, Madiha, Mehtab Ahmed, Khushi, Zubib, Mahib, Parb, Farhan, Vishpreet Singh, Anishpreet, Sahiba, Manat, Mohin, Barira Rubab, Ayati Mahajan, Viraj, Farhan Shazad, Vihaan ,Vansh,Falak, YAshvardan, Azzam, Povleen Kour, Divyam Dewan, Asim Mirza, Jazza, Parsa Zehra, Ansab mattoo, Aitsham Bukhari, Lakshay Singh Charak, Arshdeep Singh, Mazhar Aki, Ali Akbar, Akanksha, Darwin, Smily, Dashmeet kour, Husina Wajid, Akshita & Aliza Geelani .

The winners were given away their prizes by the Principal of the School, J.S Hundal. In his keynote address, he applauded the winners and exhorted the spirit of all the participants to take part in such events for their personality development. He congratulated the parents of the winners and encouraged all the parents to motivate their kids for taking part in such events. He also ensured that BOMIS Jammu will take initiatives & endeavour for grooming the personality of the students in future also.

The event was compared by Priya and culminated with the singing of the National Anthem.
