Pulwama Aftermath: 12 Mirage 2000 jets of IAF drop 1000-kg bombs across LoC, destroy major terrorist camp

IAF sources said a group of Mirage 2000 fighter jets struck a major terrorist camp across the LoC and completely destroyed it.

NEW DELHI: India on Tuesday said that it has carried out airstrikes at terror camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) to avenge the Pulwama terror attack in which 40 CRPF jawans were martyred.

IAF sources said a dozen Mirage 2000 fighter jets struck a major terrorist camp across the LoC and completely destroyed it. The strike was carried out at 3:30 am on Tuesday, sources said.

Earlier on Tuesday, Pakistan Army claimed that the Indian Air Force crossed the Line of Control (LoC) and dropped payload near Balakot in Pakistani territory.

A Pakistan Army spokesperson said Indian aircraft "intruded" from Muzaffarabad sector and faced "timely and effective response from Pakistan Air Force."
