JSS Kathua shines at 30th Road Safety Week celebrations

KATHUA: Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua witnessed a spearheaded victory as it ranked the second position in the week-long celebration of the 30th Road Safety Week held between 4th Feb to 10th of Feb 2019 organized by the Regional Transport Office under the aegis of District Administration.

It was a week-long celebration with different activities and programmes conducted to strike awareness among students and common people about Road safety.

JSS Kathua participated in the Walkathon that was flagged of by Rohit Khajuria Deputy Commissioner (Kathua) along with Sridhar Patil (IPS), dynamic SSP Kathua and other esteemed dignitaries from GDC Kathua till Mukherjee Chowk Kathua.

An endeavor to sensitize the common man with the theme ‘Sadak Suraksha- Jeevan Raksha’ was a campaign so widespread and initiated to educate people about Road Safety Rules. Students of JSS Kathua marched the entire way, carrying banners and messages, signifying their roles as responsible citizens of India, thereby creating awareness amongst masses. They were appreciated for their zealous effort by the District Administration and awarded for this noble endeavor at GDC Kathua.

Management, Principal and Teaching fraternity of JSS Kathua felt proud and congratulated the students and further motivated them to always be an integral part of such campaigns that foster humanity, a sense of responsibility and make their roles in society significant.
