Jodhamal School awarded Excellence in Co-Curricular Education

JAMMU: Trilok Singh Bist, Principal of Jodhamal Public School received "Leadership Award for Excellence in Co-Curricular Education, 2018-19" by SchoolStars at Delhi recently.

This is the first ever award programme in India promoted to celebrate the enormous contribution of schools and school leaders in nurturing talent beyond academics in schools.

At the venue, Principal Trilok Singh Bist along with Trustee, Nandan Kuthiala received this prestigious award.

This award was given by the Dr Bindu Rana (Founder Director-ScoolStars) and Abhinav Dhar (Founder CEO-ScoolStars) along with the chief guest on the occasion.
The chief guest also appreciated and felicitated Principal for his selfless & dedicated work for the Jodhamal School.

Sixty to 70 Principals of India's Top Schools and reputed educationalists from all over India were present in the ceremony.

The leadership award for excellence in co-curricular education by ScoolStars is the first ever award programme in India promoted to nurture talent beyond academics in schools.

The shortlisting for the awards was carried out by the research team at Koshient Ventures after a one year long intensive study of over 8400 independent schools in India.

They rate and rank most high profile schools on various parameters based on historic data, community and parental perceptions and reviews publicly available about the schools.

In the session 2017-18, Jodhamal School availed this opportunity for the first time and 140 students participated out of which 50 students received bronze, 40 received silver dockets and 4 students namely Rishab Gupta of class III, Guhika Sachdev of class V from Junior wing, Tushar Gupta of class VIII and Mehak Khorana of class XII received gold dockets at the national level.

Trustee, Nandan Kuthiala, Director, Arati Kuthiala, Vice Principal, Shifali Sanwal and Administrative Officer Bharat Bushan Sharma of Jodhamal School along with all the Teachers of Primary & Secondary sections and all the school staff members congratulated Principal Trilok Singh Bist for this achievement.
