Ganga hopes new teams will prove an asset for party’s progress, victory

SAMBA: In a bid to further strengthen party base at ground level, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has constituted social media teams and BJP IT Cells for Vijaypur Constituency in view of upcoming Assembly and Parliamentary polls. This was informed by former Minister, Chander Prakash Ganga on Wednesday.

While talking to media persons at Vijaypur, he said that the objective of forming these teams is to further boost the party functioning and activities especially in view of ensuing elections.

"Use of the social media teams would be unprecedented in promoting and propagating the programmes and policies of BJP besides enhancing political campaign of the party", maintained the former Minister. The social media has become ubiquitous communication channel which enable the party to directly reach out to voters, mobilize supporters, and influence the public agenda".

The former Minister, while complimenting the new team members, expressed hope that they would prove to be an asset for success of the party by supporting the party leaders and workers towards further strengthening party base at ground level.

Ganga also chaired meeting of social media and IT Cell of Vijaypur Constituency.

Giving further details, Ganga informed that Mohan Thapa has been appointed as district incharge for Social Media and IT Cell while Koushal Sharma has been designated as co-inchage.

Likewise, Nancy Choudhary has been nominated as incharge, social media and IT Cell for Vijaypur Constituency with Amit Shrikul and Sushil Sharma as Co-incharge, John Shotra and Vijay Choudhary have been nominated as incharge Block Baribrahmana and Ramgarh while Kamal Bajwa and Gourav Gupta have been appointed incharge for Ramgarh town.

The former Minister informed that various blockwise social teams have also been constituted.

On the occasion, Jai Dev Rajwal, State incharge social media and IT Cell were also present and had an interaction session with the teams during which they had detailed discussion on party poll strategies and ideology.
