Army conducts Cycling Expedition to Commemorate Army Day

RAJOURI: A cycling expedition organised by Indian Army was flagged off from Palma in Rajouri district by Maj Gen PS Bajwa, General Officer Commanding, Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo).

The expedition aims to foster the bond between Army, Civil Administration, CAPF and citizens from the twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch and to celebrate the spirit of Army Day 2019.

The expedition will involve cycling from Palma to Nagrota and cover an overall distance of 170 km in Hilly terrain of J&K in two days. A total of 51 participants including important dignitaries from Army, CPOs, Civil Administration & civil cycle enthusiasts are participating in this initiative.

The expedition will be flagged in at Nagrota on 14 Jan 2019 by Lt Gen Paramjit Singh General Officer Commanding, White knight Corps.
