Ashank, Rishav represent Udhampur in Bronze winning U-19

JAMMU: For the first time, two young cricketers from Udhampur became part of the J&K Under-19 boys' Cricket team that excelled in the 64th National School Games held at Jammu under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS).

Ashank, a student of KC Gurukul Public School performed all round as left handed batsman and right handed off spinner. He scored 70 runs and claimed 11 wickets, including four against Uttar Pradesh in the hardliner.

Another promising cricketer from the district Udhampur, Rishav Sharma, played a key role in J&K wins as wicket-keeper batsman.

A student of AOC Higher Secondary School, Rishav kept the wickets well while batting well in the middle order.
