Toddlers World, JKPS organises ‘Jungle in the School’ activity

JAMMU: Toddlers World, a unit of JKPS organised ‘Jungle in the School' activity in which students of Pre-nursery, Nursery, UKG and Class 1st participated.This activity was conducted to aware students and teachers about the rich fauna of the world.

The students observed, admired, identified and compared the special traits of various animals. The students performed with great zeal and enthusiasm in the activities and also developed feelings of love, care, empathy and admiration for the animals. The students represented different animals living on terrestrial, aquatic and aerial habitats. The birds that are endangered were also represented and the participants urged to protect and preserve them so that they should not get extinct.

British council also contributed to this event by showcasing students who represented extinct birds and spread awarness among the parents, teachers and other students regarding their extinction.

Raj Daluja-Chairman JK Education Society, Gautam Daluja, Sara Daluja, Shashi Choudhary-Joint Director JK Education society, S.K Singh, Principal JKPS Kunjwani, Suman Banbah-Principal JKPS panjthirti graced the occasion with their presence to encourage the students. Parents were also invited to this event.

Raj Daluja commended the efforts of students and their parents who supported their children to make the costumes of the endangered and extinct species as they were not available in the market.He also appreciated Shivangani Pandotra, Cordinator Toddlers wing and her management to showcase such event.

The project was a great success as it emphasized and reinforced the need and importance of our fauna and the need to protect and preserve it
