JSS celebrates Christmas

KATHUA: Jammu Sanskriti School, Kathua, organized a Pre-Christmas function today with much pomp and show.

The festive spirit was witnessed among school staff and students. The school premises was decorated with bright and colourful bells, stockings and stars created by the children in their craft class.

Students of pre-primary section celebrated Christmas by exhibiting their talents through songs and dance performances. They emphasized the importance of caring, sharing and spreading goodness all around. The children spread cheer with their smiles and lovely attire. Coordinator Monika Sharma praised and appreciated the efforts of the students.

Children from various classes participated in carol singing and dancing. Primary wing coordinator also spoke about the true meaning of Christmas and ornaments that are hung on the Christmas tree like the shiny star, the silver bell, the red and white candy, the wreath, the candle and the Santa.

School management expressed their delight on seeing such enthusiasm in the children who brought the spirit of Christmas to life. As happiness lies in celebrating together as a family senior coordinator Pardeep Kour said that Christmas is the time to give and forgive.

Chairman Harpreet Singh Anand and Vice chairperson cum principal Rohini Aima were also present and welcomed Mili R Sumbria as a new principal of JSS.
