Tiny Tots Higher Secondary School celebrates sports cum annual day

JAMMU: Tiny Tots Higher Secondary School celebrated its Annual Cum Sports Day Function in the school grounds today. The Chief Guest for the day was Purnima Sharma Deputy Mayor Jammu.

Gurpreet Handa, the Director of the school Gave the welcome address following which, the Chief Guest declared the meet open by lighting the torch which was carried around the field by Mubbsir Farooq. The finals of various athletic events including the sprints, long jump and races for the junior classes were held during the day.

The Musical drill was a sight of precise coordination among the children, where as the dance by the little fairies of Tiny Tots had the audience spellbound. The Kindergarten students carrying stars looked amazing with stars shining during the day.

The dances from various states of the country were presented in colorful dresses, reflecting a sense of unity in diversity with the major dance forms of the country coming together in one performance itself.

An English play based on the story of Pied Piper of Hamelin was also staged by the students of the school. Some fun races were organized for the staff and the parents. This was followed by a grand finale of the senior aerobic drill.

Veena Handa, the Chairperson of the group spoke about the importance of curricular activities in shaping up the future of the children.

The Chief Guest Purnima Sharma congratulated the management for organising such a mesmerizing event and said it was extremely well coordinated and encouraged the students to continue taking part in such activities.

The other dignitaries present during the day included Deepali Handa and Ritesh Kapoor Chief Editor The Excel Express.
