JSS outshines in State Taekwondo Championship

JAMMU: In the recently concluded 11th Open J&K State Taekwon-Do Championship, 38 students from Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu participated and all of them won medals.

8 students received Gold medals viz., Mehak Sharma, Armandeep Kour, Harjot Singh, Himanshu Dhallam, Aditya Kaith, Rakshit Sahotra, Pihu Charak & Rajnish Kumar.

16 students received Silver medals viz., Angat Digra, Sonalika Choudhary, Abhishek Saini, Pavsheen Kour, Abhinav Malhotra, Kartik Sharma, Vansh Saini, Taruna Sabharwal, Natik Verma, Sumit Kumar, Puneet Thappa, Harish Saini, Sneha, Aarya, Vikas Bhagat & Amit Jamwal.

Bronze medals were bagged by 14 students viz., Dhruv Bandral, Ashish Saini, Paaras mani, Vansh Sarmal, Vasudev Bhagat, Arshiya Kohli, Aayan Shivgotra, Aradhya Mahajan, Armaan Bhatia, Nitish Sharma, Adhi Sadotra, Shalvi Saini, Ridhi Saini, & Isha.

The tournament was organized by J&K Taekwon-Do Association (JKTA) at M.A Stadium, Jammu.

Principal cum Vice-Chairperson, Rohini Aima congratulated and appreciated the efforts of the coach Jagpreet Kour and students for this great achievement of theirs and asserted, "Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. But in order to succeed in life, we should never give up. Instead of giving up, we must be prepared to tackle any obstacle & should try to do the best we can do, in any field. No doubt, the price of Victory is high but so are the rewards."
