Bhargav Public School wins opening Kho-Kho tie

JAMMU: Hosts Bhargav Public School won the inaugural match beating JK Model School Rani Bagh 9-8 in the two-day Inter-school under-17 girls Kho-Kho Tournament, organised by the Kreeda Bharti J&K at Gadi Garh, near here.

The event was declared open by chief guest, SDM Jammu South, Shree Kant Bala Sahib Sure (IAS) who was chief guest. He was introduced with the participating teams by the organisers.

Speaking to the gathering, the chief guest appreciated the initiative of Kreeda Bharti and complimented the Principal of Bhargav Public School, Vikas Sharma, who is also treasurer of Kreeda Bharti, for extending a helping hand with regard to infrastructural facilities.

Earlier, president Kreeda Bharti J&K, Shiv kumar Sharma, who is also president of J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association, welcomed the chief guest and other distinguished gathering.

Spokesperson of BJP, Ashok Kumar Khajuria, Naib Tehsildar, Satish Kumar Sharma and co-convener of Refugee Cell BJP J&K were guests of honour.

Vice president of Kreeda Bharti, Dr Sanjogita Soodan conducted the proceeding while Sunil Sharma with Dolly Sharma officiated the match in support with Sardar Angat Singh for scoring purpose.

Secretary Kreeda Bharti, Rajesh Chander Vaid presented vote of thanks.
