J&K Cyclists declared as Gold and Silver Winner on closing day of 23rd National Road Cycling Championship

JAMMU: Cyclists from Jammu and Kashmir Rameez Raja and Waheed Ahmad who have won silver and bronze medals respectively yesterday in 23rd Road National Cycling Championship, currently going on at Kurushetra Haryana are declared as Gold Medalist & Silver Medalist respectively today on closing day of the championship by Cycling Federation of India due to disqualification of actual Gold Medalist Shivam Kasana of Uttar Pradesh.

By virtue of which J&K Cyclist Rameez Raja from gets Gold Medal & Waheed Ahmad from Kanihama (Budgam) becomes Silver Medalist in this ongoing National Road Cycling Championship.

The J&K team is participating under the aegis of J&K Cycling Association accompanied by NIS Certified Coach Ajay Kumar and Manager Om Prakash Sharma.

S. Ravinder Singh, President J&K Cycling Association, Secretary J&K Cycling Association SS Gill, Joint Secretary Mushtaq Ahmed & Treasurer Ravi Salgotra J&K Cycling Association hailed the performance of both riders.
