JSS girls outshine in District Cricket Championship

JAMMU: Students of Jammu Sanskriti School, Kathua brought laurels to the school by clinching medals and trophy in Girls' District Cricket Championship 2018.

16 teams of various schools participated in the competition, held in MVM High School, Hatli Morh Kathua and organized by J&K State Youth and Sports Development Association, Kathua.

Girls of JSS, Kathua won finals in category U-14, power 20-20 cricket championship 2018-19. The girls played under the guidance of Pushap Thakur, Sports Teacher.

Principal Shuchita Gupta appreciated the efforts of sports teacher and congratulated the students for their wonderful performance. She honoured the students in the assembly and motivated them to participate more and more in sports besides studies.

Further, she encouraged all the students of the school to participate in each and every activity.
