MAM college observes communal harmony week

JAMMU: Communal Harmony Campaign week was inaugurated at Govt MAM College, which will be observed from 19th to 25th November, 2018.

Communal Harmony Campaign Week" coincides with the 'Qaumi Ekta Week' observed by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the last day is observed as the "Flag Day". The objective is to promote communal harmony and national integration through 'volunteers for peace and harmony'.

Principal of the college, Prof. Dr. Romesh Chander, in his address, emphasized the fact that we all are one, irrespective of our religions and advised the students to practise peace and harmony.

The resource persons who conducted the morning and afternoon sessions were Prof. Inderjeet Singh, Department of Geography, Univerisity of Jammu and Prof I.A. Khan Retd. Prof of Geography Govt. MAM College Jammu, which were followed by an interactive session with the students.
