Pallanwala Club boys bag District Volleyball title

JAMMU: Pallanwala Club lifted the boys' title in the 30th District Jammu Volleyball Championship held under the aegis of Volleyball Association of J&K at MA Stadium, here today.

In the final, Pallanwala Club defeated Allah Volleyball Club in straight sets of 25-21,25-20, 25-10. The girls' title trophy went to Army Children Club, who beat Trikuta club 3-1 (15-25, 25-15, 25-06 and 25-17).

The finals officiated by the technical penal including Mulkhraj Sharma, Anil Kumar, Anku Sharma and Pravinder Singh.

Divisional Sports Officer of the J&K State Sports Council, Ravi Singh was chief guest, who gave away thee prizes. Manager Indoor Complex, Satish Gupta was guest of honour.

Earlier, the chief guest welcomed by president Jammu District Volleyball Association, Manmeet Singh. Also present wee HS Gill, Kuldip Magotra, RC Sharma, Rajeev Dogra, OS Gill, Master Puran Singh and Suresh Singh.
