1. At least 13 people were injured when a minibus rammed into a stationary truck in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir. The incident took place near Birma Bridge. The bus was carrying Amarnath pilgrims.

2. One terrorist was killed on Thursday in an ongoing gunfight in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district. The unidentified terrorist was brought down in the Sadu Ganga forest area during an encounter with the army, Defence Ministry sources said. An AK-47 rifle was recovered from the slain terrorist.

Rajya Sabha MPs from Jammu will be able to speak in the House in their native language, that is Dogri, from the forthcoming Monsoon Session of Parliament, Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu confirmed. The Rajya Sabha Secretariat has arranged for simultaneous interpretation facility for Dogri, as Naidu formally inducted the interpreters for the language today.
