Jammu's Meet Kaur shines in Punjabi music industry

Releases third song 'Mohali Wala'

Jammu's Meet Kaur, who has earned fame as Punjabi singer, today released her third song, titled 'Mohali Wala'. The song released under the banner of Shemaroo Punjabi also features Preet Hundal.

Born in Marh block of Jammu, Meet got a break in the Punjabi music industry with song 'Chalakaa', and since then, there's no looking back. She has more Punjabi projects in her kitty and fans will definitely get to see more of her.

The multitude of cultures she has been exposed to while living in Jammu, has added to her talent. Trained by Prof. Ravi Sharma in Saraswati Sangeet Kala Mandir, Jammu, she has sung in Gojri, Kashmiri, Dogri, Hindi, and Punjabi.

She started participating in cultural activities in school and college, including the Display Your Talent Hunt organised by Jammu University, and realized her calling for the art. Being the first from her family to sing, Meet has always been supported by her family, especially her brother and father.

Looking up to Surinder Kaur and Sunidhi Chauhan as her inspirations in the music, Meet has no plans for Bollywood yet, but certainly aims to make big in Punjab.
