‘PDP-BJP’ total failure like Modi Govt: NSUI

JAMMU: National Student Union of India (NSUI), All India president Fairoz Khan has alleged that PDP-BJP dispensation in the State has also totally failed like Modi Govt at the Centre.

Addressing a press conference at PCC head office, Shahidi Chowk on Wednesday Jammu, the national president of the NSUI strongly condemned the ceasefire violations by Pakistan at LoC in Ramgarh sector (Chamlyal) in which BSF Asstt Commandant and four jawans were martyred. He said this is very unfortunate where civilian and Army both are living under danger zone. He also emphasized on the point that only making huge promises are not enough to govern the nation.

While highlighting border issue he directly attacked both the State and the Union Government and said that both the Governments are responsible for the conditions prevalent in the State.

He also highlighted the issue of SRO-202, saying that the whole policy is full of faults and issues and the youth of J&K will never accept this. The policy makes a clear distinction between same cadre officers and creates inequality among them. Khan warned, and gave a time period to the State Government to reconsider the policy. He said if Govt does not rollback the policy, every district committee along with State Committee of NSUI will start a State wide protest and will also sit on a hunger strike.

Lambasting the Govt he said that youth is frustrated due to unemployment whereas Government is busy in making amendments in JKPSC KAS examination by which they reduced upper age limit from 37 to 32 years. On the other hand, they have failed to conduct one exam of KAS in the past 4 years. They are playing with career of those aspirants who have been preparing for so many years.

Neeraj Kundan (National secretary), National coordinator Sharvan Badhyal, Raqeeq Khan (State president), Amjad Bhat , Vishal Kotwal (State vice presidents), Avijot Singh, Puneet Singh, CK Sharma (State-general secretaries), Vikas Bodharia and others were also present.
