KCSC wins by six wickets in JKCA tourney

JAMMU: KC Sports Club (KCSC) today registered a fine six wickets win against Evershine Cricket Club in the ongoing JKCA Premier Championship of district Jammu at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.

Batting first, after winning the toss, Evershine Club made 174 runs losing all their wickets in 27.3 overs of the 30 overs a side game. Sahil and Parvinder Singh were main scorers with 43 and 33 runs respectively while Ravinder contributed 21-ball 30 runs to the total. From KCSC, R Pandit emerged as most successful, who took three wickets while Devats and Shubham Gupta shared two each.

Later, KCSC overhauled the opponent total making 175 runs in 27.5 overs losing four wickets. Sunil Kumar played fine innings of 68 runs studded with three sixes and four boundaries. Vikas and Mohit added 40 and 26 runs respectively. Sunny claimed two wickets and Ravinder one from Evershine.

Sunil was declared man of the match for his match winning knock of 68 runs. Rahul Kumar and Ashok Singh were umpires in today's match while Saleem-ur-Rehman maintained the scorecard.
