Power scenario being revamped to ensure 24×7 supply: Ganga

SAMBA: Member Legislative Assembly and Former Minister, Chander Prakash Ganga, on Wednesday started blacktopping work on 1 km link road to Badali, Vijaypur to be executed with an estimated expenditure of Rs. 20 lakh under City and Town Programme.

The MLA also inaugurated upgraded transformers from 63 KVA to 100 KVA and 100 KVA to 250 KVA at Badali Village.

Ganga, while addressing the people on the occasion, counted the innovative initiatives of the present dispensation envisaging a total transformation in the power scenario of the state. "The far off and remote pockets of all three regions of the state have always been focused upon by the government while extending the basic services", asserted the MLA. He said that the power supply system is being revamped to ensure that nobody is deprived of this vital facility irrespective of their social or political affiliation.

"I am happy that now the priorities of common masses towards their needs and requirements are changing and they seems more inclined towards education, employment and related sectors", maintained the MLA. He said that this has become possible only due to the launch of numerous welfare and development schemes by both the governments at Center and the State which guarantees better basic amenities to the people thus giving them a space for their empowerment in other important fields.

Ganga informed the people that the Chief Minister has issued strict instructions to the administration at all levels to ensure that all development works especially roads, bridges, lanes and drains are done before the monsoon season to avoid any inconvenience to the common populace on this account.
