Bandhu Rakh wins opening tie in Sub-Junior Hockey

JAMMU: Bandhu Rakh won opening match of the Shaheed Bhagat Sub-Junior Hockey Tournament, organised by Shaeed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation under the aegis of Hockey J&K at K K Hakhu Stadium, here today.

Bandhu Rakh made it a big 5-1 win against Bhargava Sports Club, Gadi Garh, courtesy three goals coming from Gurasis Singh. Harshkirat Singh and Inderjeet Singh netted other goals.

Earlier, the event was declared open by Superintending Engineer, Gurmeet Singh, who was chief guest. Prominent among others present were Rajinder Singh and Dr Taran Singh.

The inaugural match officiated by the technical penal including Gurpreet Singh, Prabjot Singh, Balmeet Singh and Harjeet Singh.
