JKCA holds Jammu cricket tourney at Parade

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) shall be holding a cricket tournament for under-16 boys and seniors at Parade Ground, here in the second week of this month.

As per a handout issued here today, the event has been announced by member of the JKCA working group, Jung Bahadur Singh Jamwal after seeking approval of Justice CK Prasad and Justice Riffat Alam Administrators of JKCA and final call was given by Syed AH Bukhari, CEO JKCA.

It was also decided to appoint selectors for picking good performers of each district and the good performers of below 25 years players from all over the state in these tournaments shall be considered for the final selection trials to be conducted by JKCA.

Besides Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal, the event shall be supervised by Sham Kalsotra, Shibban Lal and Arshad.

The teams of both categories of Jammu district, desirous of taking part, are advised to submit their entries with the Rajesh Gill former Ranji player by or before May eight.
