SFA Manager gets Pune City FC assignment

JAMMU: Team Manager of the State Football Academy (SFA), Salman Mir has been appointed as Assistant Team Manager by the Pune City FC, a reputed football club of India, for the Indian Super League (ISL) season 2019.

Hailing from Baghat Barzulla, Srinagar, Salman has become first young man from Kashmir ‎Province, who has been appointed in one of the renowned clubs of India, a handout issued by J&K Football Association (JKFA) here today informed.

Besides SFA, Salman also served with Real Kashmir FC, Lonestar Kashmir FC as Team Manager and Assistant Team Manager.

Moreover, he has also served in Second Division I-League as a Team Manager for Universal Football ‎Academy and as an Assistant Coach for Challenger Novelty FA.‎

While expressing his happiness, Salman said that it was dream come true for him to join hands with ‎one of the renowned clubs of India.‎ He said that SFA has played a crucial role in his success.‎

‎"SFA has contributed a lot in my success. SFA is doing a great job by availing opportunities to young ‎talents," he maintained.

He said that his family has always remained supportive and hailed Executive Officer of SFA Majid ‎Yousuf, International footballers, Mehrajudin Wadoo, Ishfaq Ahmad and Technical Director of SFA, ‎Sajid Yousuf, Hilal Rasool Parray besides other person who had guided him throughout his journey.‎
