Ask question to those in government how things get bad in J&K: Omar to media

SRINAGAR: Coming down heavily on media for asking him to apologise for his comments on Kashmir, working president of the main opposition National Conference Omar Abdullah said the 'Government Friendly news channels' should ask those in power how things were allowed to get bad in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said terror attacks in the heart of winter and summer capitals of the state are evidence of a terrible deterioration in the security environment in Jammu and Kashmir.

Taking to micro-blogging site twitter on Monday evening, Abdullah said, 'At some point the Govt friendly news channels will have to stop asking me to answer/apologise for things & start asking those in power how things have been allowed to get this bad in J&K.'
