Arushi wins Silver in National School Chess

JAMMU: Arushi Kotwal has brought laurels to the state by winning a silver medal in girls' under-17 category the just concluded 7th National Schools Chess Championship held at Bhubneshwar.

On her return, All J&K Chess Association (AJKCA) today felicitated Arushi for her achievement. Earlier, this young chess player was welcomed by president of the Association, Atul Kumar Gupta alongwith other office bearers and felicitated her for the achievement.

Speaking on the occasion, Atul said that J&K players are continuously performing at the National as well at International events. He was hopeful of improved results in the upcoming events at the National level.
