J&K women lose yet another Hockey tie

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir women lost their second consecutive game of group-A league round to Vidarbha Hockey Association 0-4 in the 8th Hockey India Sub Junior (Women) National Championship (B Division) underway in Assam.

It was a comprehensive performance from Vidarbha as they were efficient in their forward play, scoring three field goals in the match while one came from a Penalty Stroke that was awarded to them in the 49th minute. Vidarbha's goals were scored by skipper Himanshi Gawande (19', 49'), Mansi Dhumal (23') and Palak Sawaimul (55').
