Junior Kabaddi event gets underway

JAMMU: Organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Kabbadi Association, the Junior Kabaddi (boys and girls) competition started today at Green Fields ground, here. The Sub-junior event was also in progress at the same venue.

The event was declared open by PDP leader, Asgar Ali, who was accompanied by president of the Association, Anil Gupta.

The Detailed Results:

Sub Juniors Boys: Sunrise School beat SNS Camp Road by 30 pts; Playway House beat Tez Public School by 10 pts; Bhartiya Shiksha Kendra beat Guru Nanak School by 10 pts; V B high School beat Tinyt Tots by 29 pts; Cooperative Public School beat Anuradha School by 19 pts; Cooperative Public School No. 2 beat Sarvodaya Public School by three pts; K V No 1 Gandhi Nagar beat Modern Education high School by 36 pts.

GIRLS: Bhartiya Vidya Mandir beat Govt Girls HS School by 20 pts; Govt Girls Model HS School beat Luthra Academy by 10 pts; K V No 1 Gandhi Nagar beat Govt Model Higher Secondary School by 21 pts; Govt Girls Model Higher Secondary School beat Jagriti Mission School by 28 pts.

Junior Boys: Unique Public School beat Deshmash Vidya Mandir by 35 pts; Vishab Bharti School beat Govt Higher Secondary School Pul Tawi by 23 pts; Gandhi Memorial School beat Nowabad Talab Tillo by 22 pts. GIRLS: SOS Harman beat Prade College by 27 pts; Gandhi Nagar College beat Bhartiya Vidya Mandir by 23 pts; K V No 1 Gandhi Nagar beat SOS Harman by 18 pts.
