J&K boys bag gold in School Games Fencing

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir boys clinched gold while girls bagged bronze in the 63rd National School Games in Fencing held at Nalgonda in Hyderabad today.

While the boys excelled in Sabre team event, the girls finished joint third in Epee event. The boys' team comprised Mayank, Lakshya, Suryansh and Abhijay. The girls team included Dhunshi, Mehak and Priyanka, reports reaching here informed.

The state teams, accompanied by international fencer, Ujjawal Gupta and senior fencer, Anthony, took part in the School Games under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS).
