ADGP felicitates World Wushu bronze medalist

JAMMU: ADGP Armed J&K A.K Choudhary, IPS felicitated Kuldeep Handoo and Surya Bhanu Partap Singh of J&K Police at Armed Police Hqr. J&K, Jammu for Securing Bronze Medal in 14th World Wushu Championship held at Kazan (Russia).

Surya Bhanu Partap Singh who secured Bronze medal in the 14th World Wushu Championship represented India in the said event as a player of Indian Wushu team which was headed by National Chief Wushu Coach of India Kuldeep Handoo in the capacity of Chief Coach. The proper guidance and effective pre-participation coaching imparted to Indian Team by Handoo led the team to secure 01 Gold and 04 Bronze Medals in the 14th World Wushu Championship. Both Kuldeep Handoo and Surya Bhanu Partap Singh have reserved berth for the forthcoming World Cup Slated to be held in China in the year 2018. Mr. Handoo has also been selected for the Asia Wushu Cup to be held in Guanzhou (China) from 13th to 17th December 2017.

Mohd Yaseen Kichloo, SSP Staff Officer to ADGP Armed J&K and other officers of Armed Police Hqrs. who were present during the felicitation ceremony also congratulated both the officials of the department for their outstanding performance in such a prestigious event and wished them best of luck in forthcoming World Cup 2018. ADGP Armed J&K & other officer also congratulated Shri Balkar Singh father of Bhanu Partap who was also present during the felicitation ceremony.
