Hindi Pakhwara commences at GCOE Jammu

JAMMU: Fifteen days long Hindi Pakhwara celebrations commencing today and continuing till 28th of September 2017 begun in Govt. College of Education Jammu. On the Inaugural session Dr. Kiran Bakshi, Principal of the College was the Chief Guest on the occasion & Guest of honor was Prof. Anju Bala.

Dr. Jugal. K. Puri, HOD Hindi welcomed the guests and Prof. Seema Kumari Highlighted the relevance of popularizing Hindi amongst the masses. She called it as a language of Sanskriti and traditional which made every Indian feel proud of its cultural heritage, The Chief Guest of the occasion Prof. (Dr.)Kiran Bakshi stressed upon the importance of Hindi language and also focused on the need of bringing social change in the society to give free space to Hindi to develop and flourish. 

She also highlighted the importance of Hindi Language in binding whole of Indian in the frame work of Linguistic Unity and encouraged the students to make free and effective use of Hindi Language.

Doha Gayan Pratityogita wa organized in this context where in Dr. Neelam Dhar, Dr. Ritu Magotra & Dr. Rupinder Kour were the judges. Dimple got 1st Prize, Vishal Sharma got 2nd prize, Sujata got 3rd prize and Dolly received consolation prize. Winner and all the participants were honored with certificates.

Professors from the Department of Hindi worked as team members in organizing this function. The Programme was also graced with the presence of venous other faculty members.

Prof. Satish K. Sharma, Department in Hindi presented vote of tanks and the Programme was anchored by Swati and Alka.
