MLZS celebrates Hindi Diwas

JAMMU: To commemorate the day India adopted hindi as its official language, Mount Litera Zee School, Tarore Bridge, Samba today observed Hindi Diwas with great fervour and enthusiasm.

A special assembly was conducted by Leonardo- Da- Vinci House in which Inderjeet Kaur, House incharge, addressed the students about the importance of Hindi language that how it keeps us connected with our roots.

To highlight the importance of Hindi as Matrabhasha, an inter House Hindi poem recitation competition was conducted in which three students from each House (Albert Einstein House, Christopher Columbus House, Leonardo-Da-Vinci House and Mahatma Gandhi House) in three different categories, actively participated with great zeal.
In the first category of classes 1st, 2nd and 3rd, second runner up place was taken by Anmol Dabgotra of class 1st from Albert Einstein House. There was tie for first runner up place between Shanaya of class 1st from Christopher Columbus House and Somani Dubey of class 3rd from Leonardo-Da-Vinci House. The first position in the same category was bagged by Adi Sharma of class 1st from Mahatma Gandhi House.

In the second category of classes 4th and 5th, second runner up place was taken by Rudra of class 5th from Albert Einstein House. First runner up place was taken by Tanvi of class 4th from Leonardo-Da-Vinci. There was a tie for first position between Janya Kapoor of class 4th from Christopher Columbus House and Raghuvansh of class 4th from Mahatma Gandhi House.

In the 3rd category of classes 6th and 7th, there was a tie for the second runner up place between Stuti of class 6th from Mahatma Gandhi House and Muskan of Class 6th from Christopher Columbus House. First runner up place was occupied by Copied from Jammu links news Nandani of class 6th from Leonardo-Da-Vinci. First position was bagged by Vanshaj of class 6th from Albert Einstein House.

Overall, the lead was taken by Mahatma Gandhi House followed with a tie between Christopher Columbus House and Leonardo-Da-Vinci at first runner up place and Albert Einstein House at second runner up place.

A.K kapoor, Chairman and Rahul Kapoor, Director Mount Litera Zee School Tarore Bridge Samba congratulated the winners as well as the participants by giving them a word of appreciation for their future endeavors.

Sundeep Arora, Principal, Mount Litera Zee School Tarore also applauded the rising stars of the school by giving them a word of motivation to keep improving at the same time.
