UDHAMPUR: District Administration Udhampur today organized a grand voters awareness event under Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign  at  picturesque Mansar Lake here.

Spearheaded by District Election Officer, Saloni Rai, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation of local residents in presence of several government functionaries.

Chief Executive Officer  SMDA, Additional Deputy Commissioner, District Panchayat Officer, Nodal Officer for SVEEP, BDO Majalta,  and other  officers  were also present on the occasion.

More than 700 individuals enthusiastically participated in the event and witnessed  captivating performances showcased by different dance studios and singers.

The children of Roar Studio and Dhoom Academy Udhampur delighted the audience with their energetic dance routines, while the girls of Mansar mesmerized everyone with  graceful Dogri folk dance.

Renowned singer, Rinku Mansar Wale, graced the stage with  soulful song, urging the audience to exercise their voting rights in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on April 19th in Udhampur.

Meanwhile, Nodal officer SVEEP addressed the people and appealed them to cast their vote.
