MALDA: In a bid to garner votes for the BJP, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday said that if PM Narendra Modi secures a third term, India is poised to become the world's third-largest economy within the initial three years.

Addressing a huge public rally in Aligarh, seeking votes for BJP's Lok Sabha candidate Satish Kumar Gautam, Yogi remarked, "India will develop only when Uttar Pradesh develops and Uttar Pradesh will develop only when Aligarh also develops. Give PM Modi a third term, India will become the third largest economy in the world within the first three years".

Highlighting BJP's achievement in Uttar Pradesh, Yogi said, "The dream you saw ten years ago has become a reality today. The daughters and businessmen, who did not venture out of their houses for fear of criminals in the past, are roaming around freely at night today. It has been possible because of your single vote. You must realize the power of one vote."

The Chief Minister also paid his respects to Baba Khereshwar Mahadev of Khereshwar Temple, historical Sarovar Dharnidhar and the land of great Chandravanshi kings. He paid tributes to Shiv Narzayan Pandit, Mangala Singh and Mahtab Singh, who led the first freedom struggle of 1857.

He remarked, "Living life in the spirit of Lord Ram is paramount; every task is accomplished by invoking his name. Simultaneously, individuals who endanger societal security will face serious repercussions."

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that these elections mark a historic milestone where speculation about the outcome is unnecessary as the results are known to all.

He added, "This achievement is a testament to the transformative endeavors spearheaded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the past decade. Once again, the voice of the Modi government resounds loudly across the country, spanning from the North to the South and from the East to the West for the third time."

He highlighted, "Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, we witness the emergence of a rejuvenated India. Our nation's stature has ascended globally, our borders are fortified, and the scourges of terrorism and Naxalism have been eradicated. Concurrently, significant infrastructural developments are underway nationwide.

The highway from Ghaziabad to Aligarh has expanded to six lanes, a cement factory has been established, and the state now enjoys peace devoid of riots and curfews.

The revered Kanvar Yatra proceeds with grandeur while the artisans of Aligarh gain international acclaim. Progress continues as plans for the Defense Corridor in Aligarh advance, and the establishment of a university in honor of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh is in motion.

Moreover, completing the Atal Residential School for laborers and orphaned children is a testament to world-class infrastructure. All these achievements are a testament to the power of a single vote."

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized that our festivals have profound historical significance, not just festivity.

He said, "The transformation of Holi celebrations in Barsana and Vrindavan, which have evolved into world-class events attracting millions. Previously, the turnout was modest, with only 20 to 25 thousand attendees before 2017, whereas this year witnessed a staggering attendance of 10 lakh in Barsana alone."

CM Yogi underscored the realization of long-standing dreams, such as Ramlala participating in Holi festivities in Ayodhya after centuries. These aspirations, once considered distant dreams, have now materialized. He reiterated Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a developed India, contingent upon the progress of Uttar Pradesh, particularly cities like Aligarh, symbolized by the blooming lotus of prosperity.

Emphasizing the pivotal role of each vote, CM Yogi cautioned against the repercussions of misguided choices, recalling past episodes of corruption and societal unrest. He urged citizens to vote wisely, envisioning India as the world's third-largest economy within three years.

The event witnessed the presence of notable figures, including BJP District President Chaudhary Krishna Pal Singh, Metropolitan President Rajeev Sharma, Rashtriya Lok Dal District President Chaudhary Kali Charan Singh, State Government Minister Sandeep Singh, and Minister and BJP candidate from Hathras Anup Valmiki.
