UDHAMPUR: Former Member Parliament and Minister and Congress candidate for Udhampur Lok Sabha constituency, Ch Lal Singh has alleged that present Government has no policy to ensure safe and secure career of the youth.

Addressing series of election meetings at Balpad, Khoon, Dhema, Battal, Manwal, Darsoo, Roun Domail, Battal Balian and Tikri in Udhampur today, Lal Singh said that there was neither any vision, nor any plan to create new jobs during the last ten years by the BJP Govt which has disturbed the youth of the area. The youth of J&K fill the form in JKSSB and the agency waits for years to conduct the exam and after conducting the exam, it is cancelled and the process of filling the exam starts again. He said the JKSSB has deployed the black listed companies to conduct the exam in J&K.

Ex-MP said that lakhs of youth of J&K are wasting their youthful days in dilemma as the Government has no concrete policy to ensure their safe career. Singh criticised BJP leaders for not attending the issues of Udhampur and Kathua and entire J&K in particular like daily wagers who are struggling for their demands and protesting but the Government is nonchalant as if it has nothing to do with this section comprising thousands of individuals and their families.

Lal Singh said if he is voted to power, the voice of early elections in the state will rise in the Parliament and the proxy rule of the BJP will end. He said it is very strange that cynics can't see the Tarnah Bridge on the National Highway and they are saying that J&K has become the number one state of India.

The Cong candidate was flanked by former Ministers Harsh Dev Singh and Dr Manohar Lal Sharma. They also lambasted the BJP-led Government for its alleged failure to curb inflation and unemployment, and said this government has disappointed every section of the society.
